Connecting Discovered with Facebook/Meta
With Discovered’s email-to-apply feature used in combination with Facebook Lead Ads and Zapier, you can automatically add job applicants from Facebook directly into your job postings in Discovered. This process connects your Facebook lead form to Discovered, so when a new applicant submits their information, it’s seamlessly added as a candidate to your job in Discovered.
Key Steps
- Log into Zapier and create a new Zap.
- Name the Zap appropriately.
- Click on the trigger and select "Facebook Lead Ads" as the trigger event for new leads.
- Connect your Facebook account and select the specific page and form associated with the lead ads.
- Test the trigger to ensure sample data is pulled successfully.
- Click on the action and choose your preferred provider as the app (e.g. Gmail).
- Configure the action event to send an email.
- Get the job email from your job posting in Discovered. This can be found by going to the header of the job posting by clicking "Job email".
- Set the job email as the recipient for the email being sent from Zapier.
- Fill in the required fields in the email template.
- Utilize the attachments field to build a resume for the lead using their submitted information (e.g., first name, last name, email address).
- Test the email sending action to verify the information is correctly formatted.
- Finalize the Zap and publish it for automated processing of new leads.
