One-way interviews

If you want to administer a one-way interview to a candidate at a specific phase in your hiring process, you can use the One-way interview automation on status associated with that phase.

Key Steps:

  1. Go to the job posting and navigate to the Processing tab.
  2. Click on the desired status where you want to set up the one-way interview (e.g., One-Way Interview).
  3. Click on the "Set up one-way interview" option from the list of automations.
  4. Choose to either select an existing one-way interview or create a new one.
  5. If selecting an existing one-way interview, pick the appropriate one from the list and click Submit.
  6. Review the interview questions and make any necessary adjustments.
  7. Create a message to notify the candidate about the interview (optional).
  8. Assign the status to the candidate.
  9. Check the candidate's profile to ensure the one-way interview task has been successfully assigned.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Ensure that a message is included if you want to notify the candidate about the interview. Failure to include a message may result in the candidate not being informed.
  • Double-check the interview questions and message content for accuracy before assigning the status to the candidate.
  • Be mindful of deadlines set for the one-way interview task to ensure timely completion by the candidate.

Tips for Efficiency:

  • Utilize existing one-way interviews to save time, but customize as needed for specific job requirements.
  • Use Kingsley to generate interview questions or templates for a quick setup.
  • Regularly review and update the list of available one-way interviews to ensure relevance and effectiveness in the hiring process.
