Reference Check Templates

Reference check templates are a convenient tool for creating reusable questionnaires to gather feedback from candidate references. Accessible from the templates menu, these templates allow you to design and save reference questionnaires for repeated use across multiple jobs. Instead of building a new questionnaire each time, simply create one template and apply it as needed. Customize questions using various formats like yes/no, short or long responses, or rating scales. Once set up, these templates can be assigned to specific jobs, streamlining your reference checking process and saving valuable time.

Key Steps

  1. Access Templates: Navigate to the top navigation menu on the top and click on the "Templates" option.
  2. Select Reference Checking Tab: Ensure you are on the reference checking tab to access reference checking templates.
  3. Create New Template: Click on "Create New" at the top of the page.
  4. Add Template Title: Enter a descriptive title for the template.
  5. Add Custom Questions:

    • Choose the type of question (short response, long response, yes or no, rating scale, date format).
    • Use tokens like candidate's first name to personalize questions.
    • Add questions and save changes.
  6. Edit Template: If needed, click on "Edit" to make changes to the questionnaire.
  7. Assign Template to Job:
    • Go to your job posting and choose "Find & Evaluate Talent."
