Internal Job Description
The Internal Job Description on your job posting is a cut-and-dry description of the responsibilities and duties that are expected to be fulfilled by a successful candidate. It gets generated automatically when you provide Discovered with the initial job details of your job posting. This is distinct from the regular job description in that it is not intended to be an advertisement and is never candidate facing. This job description is used when Kingsley automatically rates a candidate by comparing it to the candidate's resume content.
Key Steps:
- Go to the job posting and navigate to the Find and Evaluate Talent tab.
- Scroll down to the Evaluate Candidates section to find the internal job description card.
- Open the internal job description to review or edit the generated content.
Candidate Evaluation:
- When a candidate is added, Kingsley will automatically rate them based on how their resume aligns with the internal job description.
- Blue star rating indicates an AI-generated rating, while yellow indicates a manual change in rating.
- Review the candidate's profile to see the rating given by Kingsley AI and the reasons for the rating.
- Lower ratings may indicate a mismatch between the candidate's resume and the job description.
Cautionary Notes:
- Ensure that the internal job description accurately reflects the job requirements to facilitate accurate candidate evaluation.
Tips for Efficiency:
- Regularly update the job details section to ensure the internal job description remains relevant and accurate.
- Encourage team members to refer to the internal job description when evaluating candidates to maintain consistency in the evaluation process.
