Sequence Templates

Sequence templates are an efficient way to automate repetitive communication tasks. They allow you to create predefined sets of messages, such as assessment reminders or interview follow-ups, which can be reused across multiple jobs or candidates. You can schedule emails or SMS messages, set stopping criteria (like when a candidate completes an action), and even generate sequences automatically using Kingsley AI. Apply these templates to your job workflows or initiate them manually for specific candidates.

Key Steps

  1. Access Sequence Templates: Navigate to the Templates section in the account and select the Sequence Templates tab.
  2. Create a New Template:
    • Click on the "Create New" button.
    • Provide a title for the template, such as "Assessment Reminders."
  3. Set Up Sequence:
    • Configure the sequence by setting up message frequency, avoiding weekends, and defining stopping criteria.
    • Ensure the correct time zone is selected.
    • Add messages, select the delivery method (e.g., email), and set the timing for each message.
  4. Utilize Kingsley: Optionally, use Kingsley to generate a sequence by providing specific instructions on message length, frequency, and delivery method.
  5. Apply the Template:
    • Assign the template to a job by setting up the sequence in the job's processing stage.
    • Alternatively, manually initiate a sequence for a candidate by selecting the template in the candidate's profile under the communications section.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that the time zone is correctly set to avoid any scheduling errors.
  • Double-check the message content and timing before finalizing the sequence template.
  • Be cautious when using automated features like Kingsley to ensure accuracy in message generation.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use descriptive titles for templates to easily identify their purpose.
  • Regularly review and update sequence templates to reflect any changes in communication strategies.
  • Test sequences before implementing them on a larger scale to ensure they function as intended.
