Employee Goal Templates
Employee goal templates are a powerful tool designed to streamline performance management using the Talent Grader feature. These templates allow you to set up standardized goals for employees in similar roles, making it easy to track and manage performance. Whether you're setting 90-day targets or creating long-term objectives, employee goal templates let you reuse these goals across your team. Once a template is created, it can be assigned to any employee profile, automatically applying the goals and deadlines.
Key Steps:
- Accessing Employee Goal Templates:
- Navigate to the Templates section in the top navigation menu.
- Click on the Employee goal templates tab.
- Creating a New Template:
- Click on the "Create New" button.
- Title the template appropriately, considering the industry and position it represents.
- Adding Goals to the Template:
- Click on "Create Goal" within the template.
- Choose a deadline (e.g., 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, or a custom date).
- Enter a name for the goal and provide a detailed description.
- Click "Submit" to add the goal to the template.
- Saving the Template:
- If all goals are added, click on "Save Template."
- Assigning Template Goals to Employees:
- Go to the Employees tab and select the employee.
- Scroll down to the goals section in the employee profile.
- Click on "Add Goal" and then select "Use Template."
- Choose the desired template (e.g., Customer Service Goals) to automatically add the goals to the employee profile.
- Tracking Employee Progress:
- Monitor the employee's progress towards the set goals.
- Use the system to track goal completion within the specified deadline.
Cautionary Notes:
- Ensure that the goals set in the template are relevant, achievable, and aligned with the employee's role.
- Double-check the deadline and goal descriptions before saving the template.
- Regularly review and update the goals to reflect changing priorities or performance expectations.
