Search Overview

The new search feature in Discovered offers a highly refined interface for candidate searches, accessible via the Candidates tab. Users can type in natural language prompts into a primary AI-powered search bar, which automatically interprets search terms into filters. This feature includes options for filtering candidates based on contact information, star ratings, recent activities (like completed assessments or uploaded resumes), names, job postings, status, skills, job titles, locations (with a radius option), company affiliations, and education history. Additionally, an external data source can be integrated via People Data Labs (more data sources coming soon!).

The search bar accepts complex phrases, automatically extracting keywords and matching them to candidate profiles. Results include color-coded indicators for partial matches and provide detailed profile previews. This tool also collects user feedback on search quality, which informs improvements.

Key Steps:

1. Accessing the Search Feature

• Log into your Discovered account.
• Click on the Candidates tab to access the new search feature.

2. Utilizing the Search Bar

• Use the main search bar to specify the criteria for the candidates you are looking for.
• Type in natural language to prompt the AI to parse out filters for your search.

3. Applying Filters

• Utilize filters such as contact information, star rating, activity, name, job posting, status, skills and abilities, job title, location, company, and education to narrow down your search results.
• Select the desired filters based on your search requirements.

4. Conducting Searches

• Enter specific criteria in the search bar to conduct a search.
• Review the search results and click on individual profiles to view detailed information.

• Ensure that the criteria entered in the search bar are clear and specific to yield accurate search results.
• Double-check the selected filters to avoid missing out on potential candidates who meet the desired criteria.

Tips for Efficiency:

• Use natural language in the search bar to prompt the AI to generate relevant filters automatically.
• Experiment with different combinations of filters to refine your search results effectively.
• Clear filters after each search to start fresh for a new search query.
• Utilize the autocomplete feature for location searches to save time and ensure accuracy.
