Referrals
Employee referrals are possibly the best way to find great candidates for your open positions. The Referrals feature in Discovered allows you to systemize this process. With Referrals, you can set up a sequence of messages to go out to your employees at any cadence you like, and your employees can then use a link sent to them in the sequence to refer anyone who they think might be a good fit for the position.
- Accessing the Feature:
- Navigate to the Find and Evaluate Talent tab on the job posting.
- Click on the Referrals card to access the employee referral outreach sequence interface.
- Selecting Employees:
- Add employees to the list by uploading a CSV or manually adding them.
- Select employees who are potential sources of referrals for applicants.
- Building the Sequence:
- Customize the sequence by setting up messages to be sent at scheduled times.
- Select the time zone for message delivery to avoid inconveniencing employees in different time zones.
- Message Setup:
- Customize messages by choosing to send instantly or at a scheduled time.
- Choose the method of delivery (email or SMS).
- Personalize the message content using tokens for variable information.
- Include a link to apply token for candidates to directly apply to the job position.
- Use Kingsley to generate an entire sequence. You can ask Kingsley to adjust the messaging tone and sequencing as needed.
- Executing the Sequence:
- Begin the sequence to start sending out messages.
- Monitor the progress of the sequence and make adjustments if necessary.
- Cancel or modify the sequence as needed.
Cautionary Notes:
- Ensure employees added to the sequence are appropriate sources for referrals.
- Double-check message content and delivery settings before starting the sequence.
- Be mindful of time zones to avoid sending messages at inconvenient times.
