LinkedIn Integration Settings

Overview

The LinkedIn Integration allows you to link your company’s LinkedIn page with Discovered so that your job postings can be published directly to LinkedIn. By configuring this setting once, you eliminate the need to manually post jobs on LinkedIn and keep candidate flow centralized in Discovered. Once connected, candidates who click Apply on LinkedIn are redirected to the job's application page on your Discovered career site, where they can apply directly or with their Indeed profile.

How to Integrate LinkedIn with Discovered:

1. Access LinkedIn Settings

• Log into your Discovered account.
• Click your name in the top-right corner.

• From the dropdown, select Settings.

• Open the LinkedIn tab.

2. Locate Your LinkedIn Company ID

• You will need your LinkedIn Company ID to complete the integration.
• Follow LinkedIn’s guide to find your company ID.

3. Connect LinkedIn to Discovered

• Enter your LinkedIn Company ID into the LinkedIn Company Id field in Discovered.

• (Optional) Select your company’s Industry code to help LinkedIn better target your job postings.

• Click Save Settings to apply your changes.

How This Works

• Discovered publishes each job to your LinkedIn company page automatically.
• When a candidate clicks Apply on LinkedIn, they are redirected to the job's application page on Discovered, for example yourcompany.discovered.ai/job-details/12345. 
• This page is hosted on Discovered, not on LinkedIn or Indeed.
• The page shows two buttons: Apply to this job opens your Discovered application, and Apply with Indeed lets candidates who already have an Indeed profile apply with it. Both deliver the application to the same job in Discovered.
• The Apply with Indeed button appears on every application page because candidates can reach it from any source, not only LinkedIn. It does not mean the job was routed through Indeed.

Note: The steps in Create and Sponsor Job Postings on LinkedIn apply only to jobs you create or edit directly on LinkedIn. Jobs published through this integration do not need them.

Connecting LinkedIn ensures that:

• Your job postings automatically publish to your LinkedIn company page.
• Applicants can discover roles where they already follow your brand.
• Candidate data remains centralized in Discovered for tracking and evaluation.
• Candidates who apply from LinkedIn land on your branded Discovered application page, and every application flows into the correct job.

• You want your open roles to appear on your LinkedIn company profile without extra manual posting.
• You’re running employer branding campaigns on LinkedIn and want jobs connected to your company presence.
• You want better targeting by assigning an industry classification.
• A candidate clicked Apply on LinkedIn and reports being "sent to Indeed." They reached your Discovered application page, which offers Apply with Indeed as one of two ways to apply.

Best Practices

• Double-check your LinkedIn Company ID for accuracy before saving.
• Keep your LinkedIn company profile updated so job seekers see consistent branding.
• Use LinkedIn posts and sponsored job promotions to drive additional visibility once integration is complete.
• If a LinkedIn applicant lands on your discovered.ai job page, the integration is working as expected. No changes are needed on LinkedIn or in Discovered.

What Happens Next

• Once settings are saved, all future jobs posted in Discovered will automatically publish to LinkedIn under your company page.
• You can return to LinkedIn Settings at any time to update your Company ID or industry.
• Jobs posted to LinkedIn will continue to funnel candidates back into your Discovered account for evaluation.
