Connect Discovered with SEEK
Easily connect SEEK job postings with Discovered so candidate applications flow directly into your ATS. This guide shows you how to configure SEEK notifications and route them into the right job in Discovered—ensuring every application is captured, processed, and tracked automatically.
Overview
The SEEK integration works by forwarding candidate application emails directly into Discovered. By setting your SEEK job to send “Every application email” and pointing it to the Discovered job email address, all resumes, cover letters, and candidate data appear instantly in your Discovered dashboard.
This keeps your hiring pipeline centralized and eliminates the risk of missing applications.
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Get the Job Email from Discovered
- Log into Discovered.
- Navigate to the job you want to connect.
- In the top-left corner of the job, click Job email.
- The job email (e.g., mycompany.12345.jobs@mg.thehiretalent.com) will be automatically copied.
2. Configure SEEK Notifications
- Log into SEEK Employer.
- Open the job posting you want to connect.
- Select Manage Job Ad from the top-left corner.
- In the dropdown, click Notifications.
3. Choose Notification Frequency
You’ll see four options for how SEEK sends applications:
- Daily email — a summary of all applications received that day.
- Weekly email — a summary covering the past seven days.
- Every application email — sends an email for each application as it arrives.
- Never for this job — disables email notifications entirely.
Select Every application email to ensure immediate alerts and full integration with Discovered.
4. Set the Destination Email
- Within the “Every application email” option, paste the Discovered job email you copied earlier.
- Double-check the address is correct.
5. Save Your Settings
- Click Save to apply changes.
- Note: This only applies to new applications moving forward. Applications received prior to setup will not be retroactively sent.
