Overview
This update introduces several improvements to streamline your workflow and boost visibility into hiring activity:
- Notifications Widget (Dashboard): A real-time feed of account activity with filters for candidates, users, and jobs.
- QR Codes for Job Applications: Generate downloadable QR codes that point to your public application links.
- Client Webhooks (Event Tracking): Receive outbound events (e.g., candidate added/hired) to your endpoint or automation tool.
- Improved Candidate Add Flow: Manual entry is now the default for faster single-candidate adds (CSV still available).
- Reports Page Redesign: A simpler, list-based navigation to quickly find the report you need.
These updates reduce clicks, improve tracking, and make it easier to connect Discovered with other tools.

Why This Matters
- Speed & Efficiency: Fewer clicks to add candidates, navigate reports, and share application links.
- Visibility: The Notifications widget centralizes account activity so you don’t miss key changes.
- Reach: QR codes let you capture applicants from offline channels with zero friction.
- Integration: Webhooks mirror critical events to your CRM/HRIS/BI tools in real time.
- Clarity: A cleaner reports experience helps you find insights faster.
Use Cases
- Recruiting Teams: Monitor live activity from one dashboard pane; act quickly on status changes.
- Campus/Events Hiring: Print QR codes on posters and badges to collect applicants on the spot.
- Ops/IT: Pipe candidate added and candidate hired events to internal systems via webhooks.
- High-Volume Hiring: Default manual entry speeds up single-candidate adds between calls/screens.
- People Analytics: Navigate the redesigned Reports page to export metrics for leadership.
Best Practices
- Widget Filters: Save time by filtering notifications to a specific job or recruiter during busy periods.
- QR Placement: Put codes where applicants stand and wait (lobbies, booths, checkout counters). Test scan distance before printing at scale.
- Webhook Hygiene: Use HTTPS, document your payload handler, and add retries/backoff on your side. Notify Support if your endpoint changes.
- Candidate Add: Use manual for one-offs; schedule CSV uploads for batch updates.
- Reports: Bookmark frequently used reports and standardize filters for consistent weekly/monthly views.
