This update focuses on helping teams hire higher-quality candidates faster (A-players) by removing friction across sourcing, outreach, and scheduling.

By improving how jobs are distributed to Indeed, streamlining candidate communication through integrated calling tools, and centralizing scheduling workflows, Discovered enables recruiters to move quickly while maintaining a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.

These updates support a stronger hiring strategy by:

  • Increasing top-of-funnel visibility (faster and more reliable job distribution)
  • Accelerating candidate engagement (instant calling and bulk outreach)
  • Reducing drop-off in scheduling (automated, flexible interview booking)

New Features & Updates:

 

1. Indeed Organic Visibility & Reposting Guide:

 

Discovered now uses the Job Sync API to send jobs directly to Indeed in real time, replacing the traditional XML feed.

In addition, connecting your Indeed employer account unlocks deeper visibility and control over your postings.

Key benefits:

  • Instant job delivery and updates (no delays for edits, pauses, or closures)
  • Live job status tracking (active, pending, flagged)
  • Immediate issue visibility to avoid pipeline disruptions
  • Direct posting to your employer profile instead of anonymous listings

No setup is required for Job Sync API delivery, but connecting your Indeed account is strongly recommended to maximize visibility and control.

2. Use Calling Tools for Faster Candidate Outreach:

 

Discovered now provides two powerful ways to contact candidates quickly: Click-to-Dial and PhoneBurner integration.

Click-to-Dial

Call candidates instantly from their profile:

  1. Open a candidate profile or preview.
  2. Click the phone icon next to their number.
  3. Your calling software opens with the number pre-filled.

This removes the need for manual dialing and speeds up outreach.

PhoneBurner Integration (Bulk Calling)

For high-volume outreach, PhoneBurner allows you to:

  • Launch bulk dialing sessions from candidate lists
  • Automatically cycle through contacts
  • Log calls, recordings, and outcomes directly in Discovered

To set up:

  1. Go to Profile Settings.
  2. Enter your PhoneBurner API (PAT) key.
  3. Save your settings.
  4. Select candidates and start a dialing session.

Note: A qualifying PhoneBurner subscription may be required.

3. Scheduling Settings & Interview Links:

 

The new scheduling experience centralizes interview management in one place.

Key capabilities:

  • Multiple scheduling links for different interview types
  • Availability controls (buffers, notice periods, booking windows)
  • Calendar integrations (Google or Microsoft)
  • Automatic meeting generation (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet)
  • Group interviews with shared time slots
  • Automated reminders via email and SMS
  • Manage Interviews view for tracking upcoming meetings

This reduces scheduling friction and helps ensure candidates move through the process without delays.

4. Configure Conditional Candidate Status Rules:

 

Discovered now includes a more advanced version of the Move Candidate to Another Status automation with conditional logic and trigger-based routing.

Instead of only moving candidates after all status automations are completed, recruiters can now create customized rules that move candidates to different statuses depending on what happens during the hiring process.

Available Rule Types:

a. Tasks Completed: Move candidates after completing specific tasks or automations, such as: Assessments, One-way interviews, Interview scheduling.

You can require:

  • All tasks completed (AND logic)
  • Different outcomes depending on which task is completed first

Example:

  • If a candidate completes an assessment first → move to “Assessment Review”
  • If they complete a one-way interview first → move to “Interview Review”

b. Response Detected: Automatically move candidates when they reply with a specific keyword via email or SMS.

Example:

  • Send a message asking candidates to reply “YES” if still interested
  • If “YES” is detected, move them to the next recruiting stage

Responses are case-insensitive but require an exact keyword match.

c. Rating Match: Move candidates based on their star rating assigned manually or by Kingsley AI.

Example:

  • Candidates rated below 3 stars automatically move to a secondary review queue

This allows recruiters to prioritize high-fit candidates faster.

d. No Response: Automatically move candidates when no reply is received after a set amount of time.

Example:

  • If no response is received after 7 days, move the candidate to “Gone Silent” or another follow-up status
