Automated Candidate Emails
Overview
Sometimes you only need to send a single, immediate email to a candidate instead of building a full communication sequence. Discovered’s Automated Candidate Emails feature makes this easy. By assigning an automatic email to a specific status in your job posting pipeline, you can ensure that when a candidate enters that status, they receive the appropriate message instantly.
This is ideal for quick updates, reminders, or confirmations that don’t require multiple follow-ups.
How to Automate Candidate Emails:
1. Open a Status in the Processing Tab
- Open the job posting and go to the Processing tab.
- Click on the status you want to add the automatic email message to.
2. Add and Compose the Email
- From the automation options, select Add an Automatic Email Message.
- Enter a subject and body, add tokens for personalization, or choose a pre-made template.
3. Save and Finalize
Click Save Message to attach it to the status. From here, you can:
- Send it automatically whenever candidates are moved into that status.
- Optionally convert the message to a sequence if multiple reminders are needed.
